Eugenie’s new Sustainability Manager Module – Geospatial, Physics, and AI to uncover insights from industrial data

Incorporating cutting-edge technology, Eugenie unveils a revolutionary emissions control module for industrial operations that merges geospatial, physics, and AI models. This ground-breaking module empowers companies to determine emissions baseline, identify abnormal emissions, and pinpoint root causes. Developed with the invaluable guidance of Google’s esteemed product, UX, ML, and Engineering mentors, this innovative solution was crafted as part of the prestigious Google for Startups Accelerator: Climate Change program.

The newly launched Sustainability Manager module equips industrial enterprises with the ability to detect satellite-based emissions and achieve operational traceability. Key features include:

a) GHG-based emission alerts, including CH4 and NOx,

b) Comparative analysis of satellite imagery for emissions baseline and alert scenarios,

c) Identification of problematic assets contributing to high emissions,

d) Accurate estimation of potential emissions through physics models,

e) Comprehensive reporting capabilities for EPA submissions.

Eugenie.ai’s Product Head, Mr. Indraneel Tembhre, commented, “Eugenie is spearheading a transformative approach to industrial emissions management by addressing the critical challenges posed by environmental regulations. With the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issuing super-emission notices, operators face the urgent need to swiftly identify and address the root causes of emissions. Our innovative solution leverages satellite data to detect emission spikes, while harnessing operational insights from Internet of Things (IoT) devices to precisely locate problematic assets, streamlining the entire emission management process.”

Ms. Aarthy Raman, Senior Customer Success Manager at Eugenie.ai, emphasized the importance of Eugenie’s sustainability module in light of upcoming regulations, stating, “With stricter guidelines on greenhouse gas (GHG) monitoring and reporting set to take effect in the near future, energy-intensive companies worldwide are seeking to bridge the gap between bottom-up GHG inventory measurements and top-down remote sensing/infra-red based measurements. Eugenie’s sustainability module represents a significant leap forward in this direction. By combining state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms, statistical emissions estimations, and asset/process information, our module offers a comprehensive and proactive approach to understanding and managing emissions profiles at the site level, thus minimizing penalties and optimizing asset and process management.”

Eugenie.ai’s solutions were recently included in the prestigious 2023 cohort of the Google for Startups Accelerator: Climate Change program.
